The full picture.
Not just the portfolio.
Serious capital has moving parts that no investment strategy can address on its own. Private Wealth Management at Shell Capital coordinates the rest of your balance sheet — estate, tax, insurance, succession, and legacy — with the same discipline we apply to managing capital.
Investment management is necessary. It’s not sufficient.
For families with serious capital, the risks that matter most are often invisible — the wrong asset titling, a trust structure that hasn’t been reviewed, life insurance that no longer matches current exposure, a business with no succession plan. These gaps don’t announce themselves. They tend to surface at the worst possible time.
Our private wealth management practice is designed to identify and address those gaps before they become consequences — working across the whole balance sheet, not just the brokerage account.
Coordinating your advisors around a single strategy.
Christi Shell works directly with your CPA, estate attorney, and other trusted advisors — not in parallel, but in coordination. When each professional works from the same strategic foundation, decisions are designed to reinforce each other instead of conflicting.
The objective isn’t complexity. It’s clarity — a balance sheet that works as one coherent whole rather than a collection of separate accounts and disconnected advice.
What we coordinate.
Coordinating trust structures, gifting strategies, and estate documents with your attorney so your plan reflects your current reality and future intentions.
Titling is one of the most overlooked and consequential decisions in a financial plan. Done right, it seeks to protect assets and drives estate and beneficiary outcomes.
Investment decisions made with their tax consequences in view — lot-level harvesting, gain deferral, and charitable structures designed to reduce lifetime taxes.
When the portfolio becomes the paycheck: sequencing withdrawals, Social Security timing, RMDs, and income streams designed to last across a full retirement.
Donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts, and legacy giving structures that align your values with your plan — and can reduce taxes in the process.
Structures designed to transfer capital efficiently across generations — with governance, education, and safeguards built in from the start.
